Mary Hadsall is the Executive Director of Camelot Therapeutic Horsemanship in Scottsdale, Arizona. She could have settled for a traditional career in the financial industry. However, her life took a different direction. With a horse career spanning nearly forty years, Hadsall worked as an instructor at the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah. In 2002, she visited Camelot with every intention of gathering information to start her own therapeutic horsemanship program. Instead, she found her destiny. In this poignant interview, Hadsall discusses Camelot's outreach to empower children and adults with physical disabilities to become more powerful than the obstacles in their paths. All it takes is a love of horses, and a willingness to "slay some dragons"! http://www.camelotaz.org/
Mary is a true Angel. Camelot is a very special place indeed, I am so proud to be one of the many volunteers involved with this organization, Camelot changes lives every day. Thanks to Mary, Michelle, Robin, Ray and to all the other volunteers that help out every day. But the BIG Thank you goes to all the horses that have crossed the threshold and have changed the lives of so many since Camelot began back in the 80's. We could not have done it without them.

We had the great experience of meeting Mary and visiting the Camelot Ranch. It's not always spoken of, but people are doing great things in the world including Camelot. I hope this piece raises awareness about their mission.
