If you showed someone who had never seen a golf swing this video and Fred's swing and tried to explain to them that golf may be the hardest sport in the world they'd never believe it. He makes it look so easy.

@JAKEHARRIS281 he said he didn't want to go right. the tendency of the hill is it naturally shapes your shot (hill slopes right to left, ball goes right to left, hill slopes down, ball stays down, etc), so he just aimed straight and let the ball hook away from the trouble. he could have aimed for the junk, but he probably just felt uncomfortable doing it. gotta play by feel and stay comfortable, otherwise your game turns into a wreck.
