I appeal for cash because I put more than 9 years of my life and all my savings into this film. It would be nice to make a living from my work, but people feel it's all out there, it's all free, why pay anything? That is not a sustainable model. Downloading the work of an independent documentary filmmaker is different from downloading a Hollywood blockbuster. Many people fail to make the distinction. I had to create a private corporation to qualify for federal film investment money in Canada.

No offence but you made those choices. No point in undermining your credibility by placing conditions on your creativity.

If you go into a project hoping to make money then fine - but this film is completely about the money paradigm and what it s doing to us.

I stand completely by the words I wrote. You don't have to justify yourself to me or anyone nor would i ask or expect that.

But your appeal for money is a testament to the problem itself and undermines all of us working for real change.

I am interested in the "real" change you feel I am undermining. Do you live without using money? Where? How?

I went into this film to share Joel Bakan's analysis with the world. You try to make it sound like my primary objective was to make money and like there's something wrong with trying to recover costs and compensate people for their contributions.

The film is not "about" the money paradigm. That would be another, very interesting film. We made a film about the corporate paradigm.

When I first put this film on Youtube, I wasn't at all sure that people would watch all chapters, so for better or worse, I alternated a pitch for donations with a promo for the DVD at the end of each. Since they're at the end of each chapter, they're easy to click out of without missing anything. I will re-post with fewer ads, and you're right, the shorter chapters can definitely do without.

This chapter for me answers the question: Why is all the illuminati/NWO symbolism out in the open?

The answer is: So people will start to think it's normal.
