This tool may in fact be quite useful for product management, but seems to promote the separation of users and developers and complex processes between users and developers. This approach results in long release cycles, in turn killing quick, effective user feedback. Tight user feedback is the key to high productivity.

Another example of trying to use software to solve a human problem. Yes, management of jobs is needed, but this separation of roles away from developers making decisions takes away ownership. Treat people like machines and you end up with a demotivated workforce.

In general I'd agree with you but as the complexity of the applications increases, development goes global and the technology is deployed across multiple topologies only a software solution can offer the guarantees needed to maintain software quality, ensure only approved changes go into production and provide teams with visibility into all aspects of the development lifecycle
