lated It´s a new kit with totally new sound architecture (alternating samples) that previously only could be found on drum plugins such as SD2.0 and BFD. It´s created by the guy behind Ddrum that pioneered e-drumming years ago... And I love it!!

is the same s*** that ez drummer but now u can modify the mics... i have it and i don't like it AT ALL, is EXTREMELY HEAVY (like 20gb full instalation) and didn't worth any single byte. Addictive drums still kick ass

I'm barely exploring this stuff, but could someone tell me if this program only works with an electronic set. Is it possible to program it like a drum machine? I don't want to spend that kind of money if I can't use it as a drum machine. (I'm not a drummer. haha)

I believe it's a Hart Pro 6.4 with a TD20 module. Great drums!

Can you add a different kind of drum kit ? Say a double bass kit.

There are no double bass kit included in the core content of Superior Drummer 2.0, but there's a feature called X-drums which gives you the option to add another bassdrum (or more!). You can use this feature for other stuff as well, like combining two snares.
