@nork21 This is how it would definately happen in a Hollywood movie, but the reality is not identical. The only sector of the military the USA has a clear superiority compared to Russia, is the navy. In any case it can't be easily said that a military facing serious trouble while trying to control 3rd world countries like Iraq and Afghanistan, is the favorite against a country like Russia. I got to admit though that neither the US or Russian military has faced a competitive opponent since WW2.

Blah if u like, but u can't escape the fact that the Nazi military trained in Russia before W-W2, nor that Stalin invaded Poland ALONG with the Nazis - & started W-War2.

Nor can u escape that 30 million unarmed Christians & Jews were slaughtered in Ukraine & Latvia by Russia, or Stalin's equally heinous slaughtered of the "Kulak's" - i.e. - the "Middle Peasants" - i.e. - the Middle Class based on WHO they were. i.e. - based on class

The horrors of Russian Bolshevism were so senseless, idiotic, & extreme that the fear of the spread of Russian Communism is one of the largest factors that drove the German people to Democratically elect Hitler.

The other major factor was US Progressive Democrat President Woodrow Wilson's betrayal of the German People with his 14 points plan which promised Germany respect & peaceful treatment if Germany surrendered in World War 1. Instead he gave them the Treaty of Versailles

Nazi tank crews & pilots were all trained in Russia (because it was illegal to train in Germany after Versailles), & Stalin invaded Poland along with Hitler in 1939, Russian army got involved in the Balkans w led up to W W 1, so YES Russians DO "start world wars".

The Communist Bolsheviks also intentionally starved, enslaved, & murdered more unarmed Jews & Christians than Hitler ever did (The Purge, The Holomodor, The De-Kulakization extermination campaigns) before W War2
