@DarkTrojanHorse why do you care about appearance when all you need is love, that's what the beatles showed us. and linda was attractive and pretty, jane asher was beautiful as linda. the love didn't just work out for jane and paul. linda made paul happier, and paul loved linda more, they were togheter all the time. paul was not with jane most of the time, so the love chemistry worked better with linda.

John Lennon wrote Dear Prudence for actress Mia Farrow's sister, Prudence while the Beatles were in India. Jane Asher was the inspiration for some of Paul McCartney's songs during the Beatles hey-day; tunes like "I'm Looking Through You", "You Won't See Me"; etc., mostly songs full of romantic frustration where Paul sings lead. She was also the inspiration for one of Paul's more delicate songs, "Here, There & Everywhere".

I am a first gen Beatles fan- I always wanted to look like Jane when I was young. I was going to say, "Too bad Paul couldn't be faithful to her", but she probably got somebody better- I hope he's been good to her. She has somehow got the strength to go from heartache to heartache and not let it get her down. I think her dad committed suicide (?)
