Nancy Verrier is the author of the Primal Wound. The mother of an adopted daughter and a biological daughter, Verrier's groundbreaking book changed the way we think about the far-reaching consequences of adoption.
can't help thinking that the way that infants are removed from mothers has its start in an era when single mothers were penalised. some removals have been called kidnapping or child-snatching
Something sinister about all of this attitude of a need for secrecy about adoption.
How come a social worker can take a child from the care pool for a year and have time off work.Women who have lost children NEVER have a day off from observing how evil the courts truly are.
Excellent. She is eloquent and hits the issues right on! Thanks for your wonderful work, Nancy.

I have never heard anyone else explain the tuning you are speak of, and when I try to explain- they do not have a clue.
You need to be heard world wide.

Even though i am an int'l adoptee, I understand about the NEED to connect with one's past.
