Nobody can be compared with The Who, with the exception of The Who itself.
Only a video that I did in my free time, I know that the editing isn't perfect but if you are a fan of The Who you will get the idea.

70's was the golden age of rock n roll and actually a good time for music in general, so much better than the crap like jonas bros and hannah montana that we have today!!!!!! when songs like won't get fooled again and baba o' riley happened, those were the days of good music and good rock n roll!!!!!!

i will say that the concert for New York was probably the best versions of those songs ever recorded. itd be hard to find a better verison of wont get fooled, who are you, baba, and behind blue eyes

remember, the who is the best band ever. they are almost godly:
Pete is the most well rounded guitarist ever (ie solo's of Quad and obscure chords of Tommy)
John is the greatest(fastest) bassist ever. the eye of the storm where all the power was omitted
Kieth is the BEST drummer ever. he could make a frank sinatra song sound good with the wall of sound he put out
Rogers voice grabs your ear and screams into it, with an infinite range of sound and his commanding stage presence

Obviously the '70s version is going to be better.
They were 30 years younger; more energy in Townsend's playing and a lot more power in Daltrey's voice.
No Moon, no Entwistle in the 05 version. Each a master of his instrument, and together the best rhythm section the world has ever seen, or ever will see.
