Scars on Broadway's self-titled debut will release on July 29th, 2008 on Interscope Records. It was leaked on the internet on July 17th, 2008. Scars consists of System of a Down members Daron Malakian and John Dolmayan. Scars' bassist is Dominic Cifarelli, formerly of Pulse Ultra and The Chronicles of Israfel. Dominic met Daron playing the Ozzfest tour with Pulse Ultra in 2002. Franky Perez is the guitarist and backing vocalist for Scars. Franky formerly headed a band called Malfunction and also headed Franky Perez and the Highway Saints, releasing the album, Son of a Poor Man. Danny Shamoun is Scars' keyboardist, formerly of the band Visa. Danny has done tech work for System of a Down in the past.

The album was leaked to the internet...happens all the time. Disturbed's album 10,000 Fists was leaked TWO MONTHS before it was released on CD. Usually it's someone who works at the recording studio who will copy or steal a disc and post it on the internet, like on Kazaa, or on a torrent site like isohunt or demonoid, where you can download it with torrent software.
