  • @HugeKielbasa69 Look, any system that works for American students that can out us on top on the world in terms of the best educated and successful society,, I will be all for it!! If your idea works, I will be all for it. Whatever it takes to get our kids the best education possible, I would support.

  • @Obrian217

Well of course you can have the voucher system.

Personally I think the best bet is to only provide Trade schools by public funding.

This way you get a trade. If you want a better education. You go to private school.

Alot of Parents with money will put their kids into Private schooling, Home schooling ect.

Then kids from a young age learn a great skill in a trade school.

To me it is an all around win.

  • @HugeKielbasa69 I am not saying that home does not work for some but you cannot say that for the masses. There are many people who cannot afford private schools and I believe one of the reasons for failing public schools has a lot to do with the ignorance of parents when it comes to their children's education. Public school would work if you have an active parental participation in the system. Home school is not for the vast majority because in todays world, both parents need to work.

  • @Obrian217

Look at people like Thomas Edison & Igor Sikorsky & many others who were home schooled.

Public Education stagnates. It depends on Local voting & thus usually goes no where.

Public Education is so expensive in our taxes we might as well go to Private school.

Then, You can go to a Private school of your needs. No more Evolution vs creation problems.

Private schools compete & lower their rates & improve their education to gain students.

    It is more progressive.

  • @HugeKielbasa69 I respectfully disagree. Although I agree there are problems with our public school system, I strongly believe that parents are missing in the education of their children. School needs to be extended in homes and this is not the case because parents do not take an active role doing homework and communicating with teachers. How do you see our public school system being used by government as a propaganda?

  • @Obrian217

I don't know I think the Public education system is broken & yet so expensive we would be better off getting rid of public schools.

    Private schools are better.

Even Home schooling seems to be better many of the best &

    brightest were home schooled.

Public schooling is very stiff & it can be used as a government propaganda machine.

  • @HugeKielbasa69 I am not in disagreement with the need to cut spending but you have to be smart about it. Should we start cutting programs for education so we have a stupid population growing while we give tax cuts to the wealthiest people in the country while China wrongfully minipulates their currency? Yes, the debt is a problem but now we must not overreact and shoot ourselves in the foot while we try to right the ship. We must be smart of where to cut.

  • @Obrian217

Debt likely caused this recession as China bought out debt & were manipulating their currency.

    It is so stupid.

    Obama sucks & Bush sucks.

why do you seem to think that because I hate Obama I must love Bush?

Having too much debt is the biggest concern

    Not "cutting programs"

Rome began spending too much money on Socialism & Miltary budgets & Soon they were so indebted they could no longer pay their barbarian soldiers so they sacked Rome

  • Respond to this video... At the end of 2008, we were near a depression and at that time I was literally in the middle of seeing all that was occurring. My question is there was much tax cuts under Bush yet still we ended up in a recession so it does not appear that tax cuts is the entire answer to economic success.

  • @HugeKielbasa69 I have no problem cutting the debt and I think it is part of the problem but we must be smart about it because cutting certain programs could be detrimental to our countries future. A fact hard to overlook is we saw an increase in national debt under the last Bush and his father and also Reagan. In fact, debt was the highest when Reagan left office back then and the recent Bush increased debt by 71%, the highest of any President. I agree with you but we must be smart about it.
