Richard & Charlotte Guillory DesHotels

In May of 1965, I attended a sock hop at the Woodman Of the World facility in Mamou La. The event was a birthday party honoring Lula and Robert (siblings and no relationship to me) DesHotels. My classmate, Terry Manuel and I spotted the prettiest girl in the joint (Charlotte Guillory) and we hogged her all night. The other guys didn't get a chance to slow dance with her because we "reserved the next dance" with her the entire night. The following night, we (Charlotte & I) dated at the sock hop in Ville Platte La. (Starlite skating rink) and the rest is history. This video is a pictorial of us from 1965 through 2009. Looks like this thing might work out ! lol
