This version is to played at my funeral - NO other piece of music has ever stirred my soul as much and as consistently as 10-18-74 Morning Dew... over 20 + years now.

Jerry & the Dead relaxed, in the zone (LOVE the bass bombs Phil!) & at the top of their game.... playing a song of heartache, hope, & acceptance of life.
The dynamic flow & emotional connectedness is sublime.
I challenge anyone to find & refer to me a better oiece of music by anyone

he wrote a letter to the band about the bridging of music and science and stuff,
he was a student at mit at the time.
he later became friends with phil lesh and made and album of electronic music called seastones with him
