maybe you need a nightstand alarm with no snooze button !! :D, very nice home, looks comfortable! why do not you live in a shack !? i know this sounds strange but i always dream to live in a shack that made completely from wood, you know ..like in the movies !! XD . nice pic for your mom, this is the first time i have seen a pic for her .

Do you have a vacuum cleaner? Do not underestimate the importance of a vacuum cleaner.
Rank your bills in order of importance - 1. Car and Rent 2. Utilities 3. Food. You can always spend less on food. At least for a little while. There comes a point where spending less on food means spending more on medicine.
Round your paycheck down to the next 5 or 10 and put the remainder in a savings account. Or a fireproof box under your mattrass. Same diff.

What kind of tips do you really need? For starters:
1. Check you have enough furniture
2. Don't forget to clean regularly
3. Invite some of your close friends over a few times
4. Try to make a separate house budget
