Poor T-Rex!!...

It's very tempting to try going inverted with the real thing. Try to practise flying much and much higher, it gives you more escape time.

Painting the canopy and fins yellow helps too, the white and black colors don't have enough contranst vs the sky and clouds. After I colored my heli it was much easier to fly to extreme heights. A bright Revell #12 paint for example.

thanks for the advice ive done it again since then ,this time i hit the tarmac(just a tad more damage) i'm going to practise a lot more on the sim brfore i try and hover inverted again and i think i will paint it brighter to.

Know how you feel mate, I can do hard 3d on the sim even setting the heli up unstable. in real life i can do forward flip and back flips. went out with my trex 450 pro which ive never crashed and did exactly what you did, I just dont get how the pros do it and how people have the cash. I stripped all mg cyclics and all the normal stuff. I love this hobby and i f****** hate it sometimes. keep trying mate, at least you got the balls to go for it

Crashing inverted is just the price of flying lessons. By now I'm sure you can hover for an entire battery pack no problem.

looks like the heli wasnt setup coreectly in the fisrt place you seem to have the inverted part correct

I think you did great, started a bit low on that last one, but your circles are good. I still havent flipped my 450 in hover, it`s strange how many excuses you can come up with, to wait a bit longer. Keep it up ;o)

I have a trex 450 se v2 myself and kinda a noobish flyer. Gotten the hang of it and some FF in real life but my heli's been down a while. Since then on sim ive mastered FF and tic tocs and some piro flips ect, and now working on mastering inverted hovering. Ive gotten it down somewhat, but is it as hard as it is in the sim, easyier or harder maybe?
