@Holthane No it's not the laptop, and it's not the HD either! It's 2 things: 1st-the sound was overly loud esp the bass which was actually distorted @the start of the gig. 2nd-the mike on this cam is v. sensitive and extreme loud bass distorts it [like most camcorders & mob phones]. it actually records good audio most of the time-checkout my coldplay sydney vids. sound is the hardest part to record and i'm no pro -just a dude holding up a digitalcamera while i watch!
