@bladex05 She has the right to say whatever she wants, and I have the right to say the opposite and try to change her mind. Insensitive people always say "it's just a joke", because hurting others means nothing to them. Their judgemental words are the premise, and your hurt feelings are the punchline. Hey, it's just a joke. Lighten up. :/ As if everyone isn't struggling to find their place, desperate to think of themselves as good people. We act strong, talk big... but you and I know the truth.

@bladex05 I hear you, but you're idealistic. No man is an island, unaffected by what others think. Most of us are downright sensitive. We're like third-degree burn victims, with our fragile egos jostled by the slightest provocation. And ridicule is ridicule. The video promotes feelings of separateness, exclusivity, and basically the very things it's trying to lampoon. It's mean and hurtful, regardless of intention. If some hipsters try too hard to be hip, they're insecure and deserve compassion.

How to be cool: Act like you aren't trying, but spend tons of time and energy making videos that trash other people, their taste and lifestyle choices. This will draw negative attention away from you and place it on whatever group you wish to stigmatize. Also, be sure to dismiss the possibility that some people actually enjoy experimental music and the vintage aesthetic, or that you yourself have been in any way influenced by the culture, or by the so-called counterculture. Now you're cool! :/
