At the time this review was relevant I thought the evo was better. If you ask which one stood the test of time I would say the epic4g did. I had the evo when it was hot, but I got the Epic 4g touch and was shocked at how good it was so I got the gs1 as a back up and sold the evo. After rooting the Epic 4g I have to say it fairs a lot better than my rooted evo 4g did. The processor hits almost 2000 on quadrant. The camera is a little better even tough it has fewer mega px.

I had my epic for about 6 months now n works perfect!!!! But my friends Evo started lagging n don't respond at times!
