www.ProGuitarShop.com - The MXR Custom Shop CSP-021 GT-OD Overdrive Pedal is an instant classic, offering total transparency for smooth, uncolored cleans and sparkling, harmonically rich overdrive.

The MXR GT-OD Overdrive is a gem of a pedal and can only be had from the MXR Custom Shop. It was designed and constructed using only top-notch components for an open, responsive feel and sweet overdrive that will blow your mind. You can't get a bad sound out of this thing. It works beautifully for many playing styles, from blues and jazz fusion, to prog, hard rock, and even classic metal tones. Output, Gain, and Tone controls make for ultra simple operation and minimal circuitry to get in the way of awesome overdrive tones

  • the boys are back in town!!

  • @timisgod13 You would need a distortion pedal for a heavy sound like the bands you mentioned, not an overdrive pedal IMO. However there is the possibility of using an OD pedal through the dirty channel of your amp or even a booster pedal. I'd recommend investing in a decent overdrive pedal if you have the money!
