the gaming industry in korea has turned the world of geek on its head. i dont understand how people can actully take that as job, isnt it kinda dangerous and unhealthy?.
its strange that anyone would pay to watch a bunch of people playing games on computers.
i like korea in many ways (specially its culture and cuisine) however this just goes way tooooo fare.

yeah I agree. I'm not saying it's not fun, but it will put a strain on you. Theres a difference between playing for pleasure, and playing for competitive sports
even these guys probaly wanna go out on a nice day, but cant due to the promise they made

But nothing compared to hard labor, who have the strain on their bodies with out having large numbers of dedicated fans.

They think this job is difficult with all the fans and being in perfect health, having decent meals. I wonder if they have ever been outside the city.
