The difference between a mother and one not. She could have been raped or killed. Henry wouldn't have allowed it and that's why the father did it when he did. Rat! He was used to getting his way but I hope his reputation was shatted because of what he did to this innocent girl. He loved money. Not his children. He might have gotten away with it when he was young but his age makes the difference.No longer necessary to the military. His income would have been the thru the marriages of his kids.

@koniczynkaL Kon, it's not terrible. You have the right to your own opinion. Please don't forget that. It doesn't have to be formed around others. I've had a husband of 38 years who has a sense of humor and is intelligent. I don't think I'm that pretty but he does, thank the heavens! I feel more beautiful because of him. You've got to be who you are and accept that.It might be a puzzle now but that will change. Don't form yourself around another person. Ur pretty because U believe it. :)
