Poor girl. It's obvious that a) she trusts you and b) you absolutely adore her.
For anyone who wants to gripe, this is NOT animal abuse. She's not in pain. I've heard a caique in pain only once and only for a split second. It's very unpleasant. If you can imagine a bird giving out a panicked yelp, kind of like an injured dog, then you're more or less on the money. There was nothing of the sort here.
