Fly Tying How To:

In this video, Andrew ties one of his favorite patterns for the upper Delaware, the March Brown Emerger. A great pattern for the West Branch, East Branch and Mainstem of the Delaware River and other Catskill streams including the Beaverkill, Willoweemoc, Esposus, etc. Please visit us at www.tightlinesflyfishing.com com for more information on fly patterns, fly tying classes, casting lessons, or the products we carry.

  • Great looking fly Andrew!

  • @fishingforturds Glad you like it!

  • Wow!!!! What a great looking fly.

With posting cdc does it hold up well after a couple fish?

  • @flyfishingguy77 Many people complain of CDC not working well after a few fish. I find it works well, especially if you use a good power floatant such as Frogs Fanny. The hackle also helps to suport this fly. If you have trouble keeping it afloat then put a few more turns of hackle. Thank you on your compliments, glad you like it! Andrew
