I have a jitterbug cell phone & it's great! You can call their operator & Jitterbug operator will connect you if you cannot dial yourself. It's an easy phone to use & you will love it. My phone will hold 25 phone #'s, discount for AAA members, they have helpful & easy to connect to operators & customer service reps. Lastly, the speaker button is easy to access if I am driving & need to use the phone "hands free". No need to pay for all the bells & whistles if you want to keep the cost down.

how about reviewing the bluetooth function?

@bestprep11 All these "features" just CONFUSE older people! Don't telephone companies get it? There are LOTSA people that just want a damn phone! If I have an emergency, I don't want to be fumbling around trying to open a phone the size of a credit card. I don't want to fumble for my glasses to see the damn numbers! I wouldn't have time in an emergency to find the directions how to operate it. What about a phone that's like a landline----you just push a button and dial a number?

At least it's simplified to a point where my grandmother won't be adjusting the volume while talking like she does now with her nokia flip and coming to me for help on why she can't hear anybody. The only negative is the charger is small and may prove difficult for her but other than that, I'm probably going to get her one.

@Jensoncorpuz There are now several simple cell phones that you can find in the market. Each of them is unique from each other—in designs and features. Their offered rates also vary. Take time to compare the available choices for you to find the phone that will best fit to your grandmother.

To young people, this might look simplistic. For older people, I don't think this looks so simple. I'm 56 and I'm still not sure the numbers would be large enough for me to see without fumbling for glasses. It's too complicated. I just want a phone that makes and receives calls! without a screen or games or any other bullshit. Does no one make a phone like that?

@lancetop This makes and receives calls, but why do you want a phone without a screen?

Lol yes or no? My grandma would still have a hard time using this, but I gotta find her a phone

@Jensoncorpuz Hi. Yeah, it's a little simplistic, but they do have some additional services that may be of interest to your grandmother.
