So you prefer the Nikon Coolpix P100 or the Fujifilm HS10? I have shot with a 35mm canon rebel and am currently using a Sony DSC H2. I love creative options. I would prefer to be buying the Nikon 5000D but alas the checkbook will not allow it. Does this camera take filters and if so what size?

Wish the hinge was on the left side of the camera like a video camera, does the camera have a manual zoom right as well?

Wrong! Jessops sells it for £400 and Amazon uk sells it for the same price. So it starts at £400. And fuji cameras drop their prices very fast. That means you can buy it on the internet for under £300 much later if you can wait for it
