Eddie & The Hot Rods - 19 February 1977 - The Rainbow, Finsbury Park. Graeme Douglas's first full gig after a warm up the previous night at Keele Uni. Barrie Masters,Dave Higgs, Steve Nicol, Paul Gray and Graeme Douglas. Trashed rows of seats and a big fine to pay - but nobody cared! True 'Punk' before Malcolm McLaren and the Pistols ...

I was at this gig but the one at Woolwich Poly about 6 months earlier was a classic. This band had more energy than the Pistols !!

Now this is what rock n' roll is all about! Great cover of hometown hero Bob Seger. Eddie and the Rods could really tear a place up.
