In 2002, a China Airlines Boeing 747 disintegrated in mid-air and crashed into the Taiwan Strait just 20 minutes after taking off, killing all 225 people on board. The investigation revealed that a tailstrike some 22 years earlier sealed the fate of the aircraft.

  • @TheNw1218 Im not sure but from what I know its because the wings are light to help the aircraft fly and reduce weight and fuel combustion.

  • hahaha 3:42 - 3:46

  • @TBwassup so, it's an illusion?

  • My dad is a 737 pilot

  • @TheNw1218

    They aren't "curling up".

Airfoils(wings) are made of several sections pieced together, they move throughout different parts of the flight. They can help with lift, can help slow down, etc.

  • 2:00-2:12 why are the wings curling up? I don't understand it, are the aircraft wings today flexible?

  • @PMDGFlyer remember that they caused the plane to go wacky

  • @padmarajanthegreat the plane isn't made in china its made in america you arrogant ass.

  • @padmarajanthegreat This isn't the situation that you make jokes. This was a very sad accident!
