There is a legalistic way to preach the gospel of grace, and there is a gracious way to preach the gospel of grace. The former sees God in terms of a legalistic Judge who is so "holy" that any living being would die near His presence. The latter sees God in terms of a loving Father.

The former demands "justice" be paid for the "penalty of sin" to "bridge the gap of separation", whereas the latter seeks freedom for humankind who has been blinded by ignorance and religious lies of separation.

There is only one responsible way to "pay one's debts" and that's for one to pay all valid debts him or herself. This is not to address the issue of debt that is not one's own, like so much of the taxations that modern man must pay. ie, "render unto caesar that which is caesar's" type of debt. God does not exact interest on any debt we may have to God for whatever he has "done for us". God eschewed usury in any way, shape or form. Wake up, people. You are being brainwashed.
