Low Quality FFXIV + weak GPU +Slow CPU

my pc:Sony Vaio Laptop
Geforce GT 230M 1gb
Intel core 2 duo 2.53
4gb of Ram
to let you know i got Benchmark score on low (865) high was 400ish
and this is ffxiv open Beta Besaid server
my Advice: "Dont Play this game on an Avrage Laptop! like mine XD"
unless you'r ok with low settings

its good but not satisfying

idk if my settings are just retarded atm or what but i scored a 76 on the benchmark on low with this computer:

windows vista home basic (6.0, build 6002) service pack 2 (6002, vistasp2_gdr.100608-0458)

AMD Athlon Dual-core QL-60 (2 CPUs), -1.9GHz

Nvidia Geforce 8200m G

3GB ram....

i seriously think something was wrong with the benchmark, i know my computer isnt the best but do you have any suggestions on my settings ?

I can't wait to get started, I have been feeling real nostalgic of FFXI recently, so I am thinking about rolling the equivalent of what I was which was a Tarutaru BLM, however I am also leaning on what my other character was which was a Hume Dragoon. Would you suggest a server?

I was about to freak out, but I then started to look stuff up.. My specs are 2.9 GHz Dual Core... 8 GB DDR3 Ram... Nvidia GT 520 1GB... Do you think I will be able to run it ok?

I score around 420-440 in benchmark and playing the game at medium high settings on 1024x768 resolution :3.

I built a AMD II x4 @ 3.0ghz, 4 gb ram, sapphire 5770 hd budget gaming computer for about $400 bucks and it can run ffxiv and rift like a champ. Its a good built for budget.

@zellardo god get used to new online games (MAG, FFXIV, etc,..) been really buggy and unfinished when they come out. The games has been patched well since the release and by the PS3 release date it should be great.
