@r123154 He used to be leader and was co-founder of the Red Arrows. He died in 2005 from natural causes. His son Mark who was just as good was killed in a Hispano Bouchon (Spanish ME109).

The greatest diplay pilot in the greatest plane of all. This is a unique piece of flying which took everyone by surprise on the day (including possibly Ray himself) and it is almost certainly the only video in existence - thank you so much for posting it up. RIP Ray & Mark.

Awesome video. I have been looking for this for ages thinking, someone MUST have caught that on video - and they did!
To put this into perspective, this flyby was not planned or allowed and thanks to the men in yellow jackets (health and safety) will never happen again. RIP Ray.
