No... Only the Limited Edition grants you open beta (standard preorder open beta is only for people who have bought them from premium stores).
The preorder also grants you live head start. So you can play on live servers before the official servers are open.

idk... these animations look kinda boring and repetative. everyone looks pretty stuff. why are the orcs soooo... big and awkward looking?
dont get me wrong. the whole concept of how the raiding cities and shit is wicked but so far it sure shows it need more work. and yes i know this vid is kinda old

I was wondering, at sept 18, if I buy the game at a retail store and not pre-order. Would I still be able to play?

wtf.. shamans are just "healers" they are DPS with some healing. This game was based on the fact that you don't have just people standing in the back healing.

That Warhammer Orcs are freakish mountains of ugly muscle is what makes their concept more focused than the orcs of other fantasy worlds. Orcs, in most pieces of fiction, are usually little more than green, muscular humans. Not so in Warhammer, they're clearly a completely different species from humanity, both in appearance and culture.
