  • Hi Karla,

Did you appear in Bob Welch's Ebony Eyes video?

    Thank you,

    John

  • Nope. That wasn't me...but now i'll google it and check it out!

  • I would like to have this concert on DVD.

    Is it available Karla?

    Thank you,

    John

  • Thanks for asking but i don't think it's a blip on the massive radar to MTV...the other acts on the bill that night were Bow Wow Wow and David Johansen. These clips are from my personal archives and i'm glad i have them.

  • I absolutely loved singing this song by Peter Glenister! It was one of my faves on tour...and wow -- my band rocks!!!!

  • @bassmonkey1962 LOL I don't know that we can force her but I just bought hers on iTunes and yes it is a great album. She has a rare voice that can sing just about anything.

  • I say we start a petition, and "force" Karla to record another album, and tour. I aboslutely LOVED that first album, it ranks on my Top 10 list of fave albums. That voice--gives me chills ! ! ! : )

  • Just noticed the parasol toss at the end of the video. Did you do a little baton work as a young girl or in high school ? It was a great prop and works well with a number of the songs. Not that you really needed any visual aids on stage - your voice, dance and natural animation were/are enough to knock any song out of the ballpark.

  • You look and sound so well on stage!!
