Also even though he turned a blind eye he diverted more divisions to his west front after the fall of france - allthough his setup was as the german commanders later stated "A setup for all posibilities" as such it wasn't strictly defensive nor offensive but a blend of both...which together with the lack of leadership proved fatal in the opening months of the russian war.

@Dethreid Yeah well, by that reasoning I would be an apropriate picture for this aswell since my great great....great grandfather fought the russians in the great nordic war.

You  failing to see my reference with the panther as opposed to let's say a T-34 or somesuch is either just plain stupid or you're simply trolling... hard to say which

With this I'm not saying the picture is unfitting - it's a picture from the game from which the theme was taken and the uploader has stated his reasons

@Caladrio1 you do realize he was voted one of the most popular leaders for the sole reason of turning the USSR into a military superpower, right? Im not saying he was a good person, but the world couldnt give less of a fuck about how "nice" someone is, the world cares about results

@CCCP1USSR so ? you know what happend in the ukraine? and you know how he let the russians run to the dead in a battle? or that everything that the germans know about the KZ they have from the russian gulag?...if you say that stalin lead your nation into tha table of superpowers what did you thing would happend if hitler succeed? that´s not a good argument...you could also say that he lead the world with the stupide usa in the cold war and a lot of vassal wars (korea)

@Caladrio1 in a sense, he was. as in he didnt kill people just because of their race. still paranoid and nuts, but he did lead my nation into national recognition and earned her rightful place at the table of superpowers
