over revving causes your tires to heat up. Just turns the snow under the tires to ice.

love the k cars, had 3 my last loved the snow and would drive out it covered completly. i watched a guy once parked next to take a half hour to get his lifted big red truck out, i didn't even clean off good old shady and she drove out of the pile through the plowed bank and off we went! sadly i totaled her on a pizza run.

Umm, I still don't understand how does a tranny does not know it's on ice? It doesn't have any computers to let you know unless you have traction control on. I drive a car, so If you're stuck, and you're spinning, whether on dry land or ice, your tranny is still engaged. Flooring it doesn't always get you unstuck. I had my fair share of this. All it does is ruins your tires and burning more gas

The tranny doesn't know its on ice. If you hit dry land, it will fuck up the tranny, but if you  are stuck , car still thinks its on a road doing 60-70 mph. Let off the gas if your going to get out.

flooring it is the worst way to get unstuck.... screws up your tranny

Remember to keep your foot in it, it starts to go--keep it floored, I've ruined a couple of rear ends in my car and lots of tires, but I always get it out--

Same thing happened to me this morning. But I was able to get out of the snow somehow
