turks have been killed in those years(unarmed turk civilians as well) in balkans,africa....do u ever see us whining to europe or england coz they killed our civilians?

it was a war,whole world was fighting each other but now the world has changed,get over it already

@haydgha1 if you really want to name something as genocide it would be what europeans and russians tried to do.they wanted to exterminate all turkish population from anatolia but they have failed.their failure do not justify their mind.if they wouldnt fail there would be no turks living in anatolia today.isnt it an attempt of genocide?we turks didnt whine coz we knew that it was a war.

you armenians should grow up and accept that it was a war instead whining like kids.

@haydgha1 im not reading only turkish version of this event.i listened many others who say it was a genocide and listened many who say it wasnt a genocide.

its not only the turks who denies the genocide but also many historians,proffessors from many countries,nations.

you are giving example ''taner akçam'' and i am giving you an example ''Hovhannes Katchaznouni'' (armenia's first minister) he also say it was not a genocide but was a civil war and armenians deserved it.ur own minister

@haydgha1 do not even tell me those grandpa stories.they can not be taken serious if you want to prove this events as genocide.grandpa stories can only demonstrates that there was murders.there are also turkish elders,eye witnesses who say that armenian gang groups attacked unarmed villages and brutally killed innocent turkish populaiton..they also say the truth like armenian elders but these stories is not proving this event as a genocide.by ur logic armenians commited genocide on turks

1.5 million is a big number but lost of turkish side was even far greater than 1.5million.

@jeahdude37 well yes thats true that 90000 soldiers died from cold etc., but that were war and ottomans were in war ,you have big risk in war. but we are talking about unarmed population died here for nothing. at 1980 Mr.president of Turkey he were in USA at once he wanted to recognized the Armenian genocide,that time lot of other Turk ministers or Militairs didn't let ? you know why? they told him its not only just to say sorry we done bad things we need to take responsible

@jeahdude37 listen i as little boy i heard from my grandfather how many of his brother heads were cutted by Turks front of his eyes. untill he dead my grandpa was sick. and this is long ago .you must read some books on Armenian genocide,it must not be only writen from Armenian side ,go have look about european writer or other else,even lot of Turkish historians ,search on books taner akcam,maybe you found even in Turkish language or im internet. research ,i'm not trying to blame you
