J. Hoffmann is just amazing! His performances gains most highly artistic and cultural standard and elegance and still, it aims to future situating below all of artistic reguirements!

such a pleasure to listen to this great, great pianist and then to read the comments of the above appreciative listeners. Would love to read and hear as much about Hoffman as possible. Read once, on the back of an LP of piano music, that the 20th century had 4 towering pianists: Rachmaninoff, Hoffmann, Horowitz, Cortot. Words written circa 1960. I wonder what the widely musically literate would say today?

I remember when I played this in 9th grade ... I was so happy with my work with it ... and then I heard Hofmann take it approximately 3 times faster hahaha. (may not have been 3x but you get the point.) His technique was simply the best.
