  • Estate hunt? This isn't hunting! It's a canned shoot and if it's "the future of hunting" then hunting is already dead.

  • @whiteynut If high fence hunting is not for you, then don't do it, but it's still part of our sport and we all have to come together and support each other or we will all lose it. Some people don't like bait, or dogs, or treestands - hunting is up to the individual, maybe we should all try it with a spear and get back to our roots. I do 40-60 hunts every year and cover ALL aspects, while most are public land, I do everything, this was also a good hunt.

  • @turkeycreek1610 you can't shoot the Deer you want to shoot it is violation the state's law, you have to shoot all the Deers not just shoot the one you want to shoot, ahahhaha just joke

  • im from ohioand this is totally ashame to hunt fenced deer anyone can do that WOW

  • Love the buck, but that guy didnt seem to excited to kill a deer like that? i wonder how much he paid to kill that deer?

  • @turkeycreek1610 I would be proud of a 120" Vermont buck too. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder, you are very right. I believe Rocky was very happy and proud of this high fence buck also - you are also right that it's not the same, but as long as the animal is utilized.... who cares? Weather it's a fence, a bait pile, a treestand, hunting with dogs or even hunting in general; there will always be critics - but it is still hunting and if we want it in the future, we all have to support it.

  • @VTHunter4Hunters: I agree we need to stick together. Im just saying its not the same as a free range deer. Oh and by the way I will come to VT and I will shoot a 120" buck and be proud and dont care if it will impress you or not. I shoot the deer I want to shoot and I do not care what others think. Good luck this fall.

  • @turkeycreek1610 YES, I hunt the milk river just about every year. I've hunted around Hinsdale, Chinook, Havre, excellent hunting there. Why do you hunt the Milk river? Is it because they have a lot of big bucks? Why not stick to not so hot States like Vt - come here and shoot a 180" buck and U will impress me. You are right, high fence is not the same, but it's still hunting. Unless us hunters all stick together and support all aspects of hunting, we will lose it & no one will hunt anywhere.

  • @VTHunter4Hunters Have you been to the Milk River???? I bet not. Because if you had you would know that it's not like riding arround on a utv untill you find a deer that cant get away from you!!! I'm all for freedom here in this fine country we live in but don't compare this to the 186" buck I shot on Government land. It IS NOT THE SAME!!! But I bet it tasted better being fed grain all the time!!!!...lol
