This is my Knight Anole eating a fish and two crickets. We feed him with forceps because the crickets will crawl up his vines and out of the cage topper and up my window curtains and sit up top all night chirping. No more of that!

(This is the first and only time I'll ever feed him fish b/c its not usually in his diet)

  • those things look like they can bite hard

  • I've heard they can drawl blood... I'm not about to test that out though... ha

  • amazing set up ? are u serious? ill bet that cage cant keep 70-80 humidity like they should have?

  • The lowest it goes is 60%

  • I covered the topper with a thick plastic type wrap so the humidity stays at the recommended level. He's still as healthy and as active as ever but now has a higher humidity more like his natural habitat.

  • amazing set up is that homemade or did u buy it?

  • I bought the cage topper and attached it to the tank then added more of the green fake plants and vines (that he loves). I want to rearrange it the next time I clean his tank out to change things up!

  • i love when anoles do that little tongue lick

  • @louis1152 I just caught one in palm beach and I just realized there all over my yard, so... There obviously not just in Cuba

  • Where did you buy your topper???? i REALLY NEED one

  • @redtiger716 yes they can, and sometimes they won't let go. And they do draw blood. But I love them anyways.

  • He developed a rhythm there with his lip, jaw, mouth whatever you'd call his.... Ah forget it oh and when you thought he had stopped smacking his whatever he'd smack again lol

  • They look beautiful, but they bite hard from what ive seen

  • @hordichuck Not only that, but my Australian Eastern Water Dragons who are 77cm long each roughly, would probably not swallow it. But have fun with its body after tearing it to pieces...

  • @hordichuck Nope. Cuban or knight anoles are like half the size of my adult dragon :)

My beardie won't tear it up, or even damage it. She'll just swallow it whole haha!

  • @louis1152 A. think they mean a shop B. there were plenty in florida not so long ago so its not impossible to imagine smart arse

  • @humptybon not a cuban/knight anola you wouldnt, they would wreck a bearded puss dragon
