i just got my f-16 and began to build it. only 2 problems: one retracting leg has abit slop when fully retracted. dont know if i can fix that. i also killed 2 metal gear servos just by installing the servo horns - replacement parts are on the way.

  • Gary that thing is coming along nicely. It sounds AWESOME. I ordered the 64mm A-10 from BH as they had an awesome Black Friday sale. Still waiting for my TV F16.

  • hey, today i worked the retracts out and glued the gears+intake together :) when my replacement servos arrive i can glue the jet together and do first taxi tests. i have read alot of bad news about the A-10, i hope you get a better quality jet. several posts in rcgroups about this.

  • ok cool. i guess ill take ur belt cp now that you have this.. i mean who needs both right!

  • wrong, i need both :) but i have to say the belt cp is sitting in the repair hangar too, the last flight was full of problems and i will change all the servos. i just spend my spare time building this jet now ;)

  • Other than the retracts being complete trash, I've read that the A10 isn't bad. I've never had a jet with retracts, and if it's too much of a headache to modify or replace I'll just install gear that are always down. It's no fun waiting for parts. Keep us posted.
