Sargeant Diane Gingras plays Martin Ellerby Clarinet Concerto with the Royal 22nd Regiment Military Band in Quebec City. Comanding Officer is Major Patrick Picard. This piece was conducted by Sargeant Major Viateur Saint-Gelais.
I like to use Gigliotti mouthpieces, facing no. 4, and reeds that are not too hard, but not too soft either, so you get good projection but also flexibility in the sound. Secondly, I feel that the more you open the throat when you play, the better, especially when thinking "hot hair", that is, blown in a warm, supported way with the diaphragm.
C'est vraiment beau. Contente de voir que tu joues toujours. :-)
