@jonathan102 NSX Type S is a whisker faster than F355 on acceleration but not top speed. It shouldn't be such a surprise anyway about the Type S winning the 1/4 mile because we all know the NSX (like Skyline & Supra) has a true power output WAY ABOVE the 280hp "poetic licence" that all Jap manufacturers abided by until a few years ago. An NSX Type S still has not quite as much hp as an F355 but has slightly higher power to weight ratio. Hence the results!

I wonder how an ISF would have done?

@jonathan102 it´s down to power to weight ratio, m3 is heavy and is not doing much better then 13.6sec 1/4, the 911 is 4wd and heavy so no surprise there. and the 355 vs the nsx type-S zero is purely a drivers race as their performance is very similar as you can clearly see in the video.

@jonathan102 Don't know about it being faster than the 355 but I am not suprised the NSX was faster than the M3

as much as I love NSX, i find it hard to believe it is faster than the 911/M3 and especially the F355
