Basic Poi Spinning

Lesson Type: Beginners

Prerequisites: None

This is a tutorial on how to start spinning your poi and to get the poi spinning by your sides and is the first step for any poi beginner to learn.

There is a severe lack of quality tutorials out there on poi, especially the basics, so I've tried to be as thorough as possible.

If you're having troubles with it, post a video response of yourself attempting the move and I'll help you out.

Whenever I spin on the sides, my poi goes inwards rather than straight like yours, will that make any difference?
