Check my other videos on the tear down, it has two dead cylinders due to dusting from a bad air filter box.

  • put a cummins in it....fix all the problems!

  • @beetty473 I put another powerstroke in it and behold it fixed all the problems as well. Might want to read some of poster's comments and the description when you watch a 3 yr old video.

  • i know what your problem is its the douchebags on your page saying its a ford thats why its broken thats what your problem is sir and im a chevy fan but for christ sake all truck have there problems

  • @thetheipad that's pretty much it. I am a ford fan, but i recognize other brands have their pluses and minuses as well. but some ppl are so brand myopic they don't pay attention to the description or previous comments and see that it was abuse as a fleet truck in the oilfield that killed this engine. instead they want get in a cheap shot to show they're right in their own mind and validate themselves against their own insecurities like an adolescent school yard bully.

  • ok engine's bad.......time to get new one...in the mean time hold the throttle till the cylinders blow right outta the thing hahaha

  • @mageownx911 might of done that just for giggles if I could have earned $1k off the video, cause that's what the old engine was worth as a core when i bought a long block.

  • @0285rm my problem is people not reading the description and assuming the truck died cause it's not their favorite brand. no single person is the ultimate judge in regards to vehicles, get over it.

  • @ccg711 wow dick he was asking what was the problem not the out come

  • Theirs something about a build up Og BLOW BY, that has to be cleaned out the engine ever so often to prevent the smokeing, and loss of hp, and economy

  • that's a vacuum leak

  • @171ktmracer no. It's actually a navistar engine. Navistar made engines for ford. The 7.3 6.0 and 6.4. Don't forget your also probably a cummins or dmax fanboy.

  • even when it's working still sounds like a stroking piece of SHIT!!!!! with loose parts inside the crankcase ****CUMMINS ALL THE WAY****

  • this is an uneducated guess, but from the sound of it id figure the turbo has gave up the ghost

  • @thetheipad

Thanks you, finally, a page where the general opinion is that we should stop hating. I'm a chevy guy, but my dad had a ford, and it was one of the best trucks around.

  • am going wiv injectors

  • Maybe a vacuum leak? or just a tired engine. Things to check...glow plugs, air filter, fuel filter... The rough idle problems are hard to check....diesel or gas.
