just so everyone knows, 343 has been working very closely with bungie for several years. they have created things like halo waypoint and the defiant map pack for reach. several bungie employees actually switched over to continue working on halo. so please repost this if you ever see anyone critisizing bungie for just giving away halo to someone else, because the people working on halo now really care about it and dont deserve to be put down just because they arent bungie.

September 25th marks the 4 year anniversary of Halo 3. We will celebrate this day by keeping the Halo 3 community alive and playing it at 2pm Eastern Time. We will hopefully make the servers as populated as they were before, and prevent Bungie from taking down the Halo 3 online servers to make us play Halo Reach, while also bringing the original Halo experience back to life. They couldn't have chosen a better narrator. He conveys so much emotion that it makes this obviously unreal scenario seem.. real. Great work, Steve Valentine.
