I remember being very very young and this game, this intro really made me go in awe for hockey. This game for my childhood was and is THE SHIT.

One of the best moments when tearing open a newly bought/borrowed/rented game back then was watching the intro. I love how the video is low-res, it just makes it period-correct.

Back in day, you didn't even have to play an actual game yet to get totally pumped up... All you had to do was watch the intro and you were set! Why in Gods name did EA Sports find the need to drop these? This and the NHL 98 intro were BEAST! If they added something like this to the new gen games, I'd have a bloody sportsgasim!
