I don't get how people can compare the 2 , Aaliyah built an empire before she died , And Beyonce` will build an empire before she dies , Aaliyah was in her own league and Beyonce is IN her own league . i hate when people say If Aaliyah was here then so and so wouldn't be as big.I think Aaliyah and Beyonce are two totally different artist.you cannot pen them against each other.Aaliyah did her thing VERY WELL when she was Alive and at the peak of Aaliyahs career Beyonce was in a group(Destinys Child).Im all the way an Aaliyah fan even before her untimely death,my generation grew up WITH Aaliyah.Why do we compare,why can't they both be good at what they do.Its silly if you ask me.
