Dodge Durango Flowmaster

2005 Dodge Durango 4.7L V8..Flowmaster 40-series muffler on custom exhaust..revving to the limiter @ 4000rpm (not sure why its so low)..btw the engine was warm so no im not harming it..thnx

jw but i was gonna get the 40 series for my 4.7, would you say it still very loud at the highest rpm in neutral -that is with the 4000 rpm rev limit?

I have the original 40 muffler and I was told that is the American Thunder muffler, but I'm not sure. You can probably go to a local muffler shop and pick their brain about the different muffler models.

Im getting a flowmaster 40 its 95 buks do it yourself i think its your best best sounds good like its purring and also give better hp and just sounds overall amazing

i wanna get a flowmaster for my v8 5.9l 1998 durango and was wondering how much louder and deeper it would sound. is the installation easy?
