Kaitlyn singing happy birthday to Liz (with her quiet voice due to her paralyzed vocal cord). Kaitlyn is 4.5 years old, and her left vocal cord is paralyzed.

hi my name is jay..im 39.i was born premature.at age 13 people started noticing that my voice was different from all other kids.after appts with speech therapists and doctors.i was told that when i was born the doctors had to force a metal device down my throat so that i could breathe to live.that maybe thats why i have a (left) paralyzed vocal cord.i was just wondering how you found out or what happened to your daughter that caused her to have a paralyzed vocal cord.if u dont mind me asking?
She is so adorable. I agree with sweetsmile1 her voice has definately gotten louder. My niece was a micro preemie (only 1 lb at birth). She has a little vocal cord damage. She is 12 years old. Used to wear glasses and she went to a new doctor and they found out she doesn't need them any more. Her lazy eye is nearly normal. I surely can't tell a difference.
