James is not the 1st player to play all position, Magic Johnson is. Infact, Magic actually play all 5 position in his career. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is out with an ankle injury, rookie point guard Magic Johnson starts at center in Kareem’s place, Magic proceeds to put up 42 points, 15 boards, 7 dimes and 3 steals, Lakers win the ‘chip. Can you see anybody in today’s NBA duplicating this feat, especially as a rookie?

i think "back then" magic johnson was able to play as a center because the level of "athleticism" wasnt really of existence compared to today.. magic in his prime would not be able to play the center position in this day n age,, with the dwight howards, and shaquile oneals. athletisim plays a real big part of todays NBA. magic could barely dunk the damn ball.. can u imagine magic johnson trying to check dwight howard.. it wouldnt even be fair. lol.. the closest guy in the league that can play
