Here's a brief shot of my technique for applying smoked tint film to a motorcycle turn signal lens. Stay tuned for a more in-depth "how to."

  • just out of curiousity. have you ever sandwiched a acrylic and tint to see how it would come out? I'm in the process of building my own vacuum former and give it a go and make my own lenses and visors for my paintball helmet.

  • @deliverydrifter Never. It might work, but you'd need to be SUPER careful about getting all the air bubbles out.

  • So you just heated up window tint to and vacuumed it and thats it? It stuck with no glues or resins?

  • @deliverydrifter It was self adhesive.

  • Looks like your lens was in a fire and got burnt......

  • Who else was staring at the wrinkles on the right? The end pic should have not been taken with flash.....it makes it look milky.
